HW:6 THE BADMINTON COURT

Badminton, a fast growing racket sports in the world although here in the Philippines it’s not that embraced thoroughly because of some sports that has invaded Philippines earlier for example, Basketball. Even though, I believe that if badminton was first introduced here in the Philippines, more probably Badminton would be embraced like Basketball.

Although badminton has certain aspects that needs to consider like shuttlecocks, rackets, shoes and also the court itself. That is why people prefer basketball because all they need is a ball, shoes, the will to play and a ring. The thing is that badminton needs more equipment than basketball but if you are a badminton player, more probably you need to know how to respect the game itself but first, you need to know the surroundings inside a badminton court.

I came across an article that talks about The badminton court. The badminton court is one of the most important surroundings or perhaps equipment in badminton. Sometimes some players don’t get the point why certain shoes are needed in order for them to play badminton. Since I am a player, we players have the attitude regarding the court itself.

The court should be honored and needs respect because the court is the sanctuary of all badminton players. Without it, we can’t enjoy playing badminton. The fact that people play badminton for recreational activity and just play the sport outside is perhaps acceptable but the atmosphere in the badminton court is unique. The feeling of excitement and fun to smash the shuttlecock to the opposing team and scoring a point over them. That would be the greatest feeling ever for an enthusiastic badminton player. Badminton is a fact an indoor game.

Since many people want to play badminton and sometimes can’t even afford to play inside a gym or a club can sometimes build a court itself by getting the proper dimension and exact measurement of the court as well.
