HW2: THE SHUTTLECOCK

Have you ever thought of reaching the stars? Like when you stare at it, it looks like it's moving closer to you? When you saw a shooting star, you wish upon it and hope that it would come true. I know that feeling. The feeling that you want to know if dreams can do come true and fantasies are real even if others say they are not. It's how we believe in it.

As we all know, each and every one of us wants to have something that we really want. Like becoming strong in something or getting some stuff that we really want. We all know that some if it is ridiculously impossible to have or to achieve. That is why we keep on dreaming that someday we will get it or we will achieve it.

As I was reminiscing the past of the things that I want, I came across this article The Shuttlecock. It talks about the shuttlecock. When you play badminton the shuttlecock is the most friendly of all things in badminton because it's lifespan can be as long as it was stored or be short as hell when played. The shuttlecock is a martyr because it makes badminton players play and the price was its body. That is why the shuttlecock is the best friend you will ever have when you play badminton because without it, you can't play and you can't even replace it with something else because your racket will be destroyed or something. This flexibility is different from balls in other racket sports.

According to the article, the feathers create a drag, meaning the shuttlecock speeds up and slows down faster than, say, a tennis ball. Badminton's shuttlecock is widely recognized as the fastest projectile in racket sports. Estimates place the shuttlecock's speed at anywhere from 160 to 206 miles per hour.
